Phoenix Park
The Phoenix Park is the largest enclosed park in Europe covering a total area of seven hundred hectares to the west of Dublin city centre. The park extends from her as far as Castle knock on the Dublin to Navan road with a main road running through the park to here. The park has its flower gardens, open pasture land, forested areas, and free roaming deer at the Viceroy's lodge and sports fields. The park also has its own zoo that is the third oldest zoo in the world and has more than two hundred species of animal and bird life. The president's residence known as Aras An Uachtarain can also be found inside the grounds of the Phoenix Park.
