Temple Bar
Temple Bar was the area of prostitutes and artisans in the eighteenth century. It maintained its arty feeling in the seventy's and today it is one of the most trendy areas in Dublin with a wonderful mix of art, culture and entertainment. Most of the best restaurants and nightspots can be found in the area. It is also home to the Irish Film Centre and National Photographic Archive and original Print Gallery. There are Saturday markets in one of the squares. The Temple Bar Food market offers organic produce. The Fashion and Design market is also held on Saturday on Cow's Lane and in the Viking Centre.
